Game Jam Entry for Godot Wild Jam #53

Assemble your spirit from the parts of those who came before you. Try to escape this damned ethereal realm. Time is against you. Will you succeed? If not, you can always try again :) Each time you try, you will gain experience which will unlock new parts that you can use in a new run.

If you use the webgl version, you will lose your meta progression when you exit the game. However, in options you will find an "Unlock All Parts" which can give you immediate access to all the parts available.

This game is hard. It is supposed to be hard. However, runs take at most 2 minutes and so you can try again. Levels are assembled from different sections resulting in countless possible combinations so you can always have a different experience. You can also go back to the same level either by choosing "Repeat Level" or by using the same code level in level selection.

Nicely done! I love the presentation and the love that obviously went into making this game!

Pretty neat idea, but the physics feels a little... janky? You know, like sometimes there is a huge lag between pressing the button and the game taking it for double jump, and the jumps themselves feel very awkward, but if you just smoothen out these few details, the game is pretty damn good

Really neat mechanic of customizing your set of moves, plus levels nicely built to make the player try and see the different possibilities of the equipment!

Combined with great art and music creates a pretty fun experience c:

The platforms could have a bit more forgiving collisions though heh

Nice job!

Wall climbing gloves kinda suck, not always they work properly.

Spikes punishes you by sending you back almost at the start of the level. Which can erase your progress.

Metal gloves take 3 hits to kill a creature.

While light dash gloves take 2.

Other than that is pretty good.

Wow its even controller compatibile.
